I don’t think that 4 years ago we would have been able to predict that our lives would be here, planning a wedding together, but life is always complicated and unpredictable. Most of our friends in and family know about our unconventional love story and how we serendipitously found each other, but for those looking for an abridged version of events: Allison moved back to Virginia, and while they had met in person months earlier, it wasn’t until Allie was in Virginia that the two of us began “talking”. Then, she flew to Florida to go get her car and take a road trip with her best friend back to Virginia, and . . . never left Florida again. And they lived happily ever after.
